It’s a delicate balance. I think you have to truly believe in your kids and their dreams (like you said THEIR dreams), and make investments where it makes sense. But yeah, I’m going into it expecting zero return on this investment (except for the memories). 🤣

There are less expensive options, sports are valuable, learn teamwork, perseverance, healthy exercise, goal setting. It should never be only because they will play in college or professionally.
