Fact. I was bitched out b/c I didn’t check my email 5X a day. I teach school. 😳 We’re supposed to work bell to bell, then be in the hallway between classes. SMH. Then I was asked to cover for another teacher who is ALWAYS late. You can imagine my response. I live for those moments. 😅

I am that employee starting now! I made a decision, NO more work on my leave days, no extra hours, will take my tea breaks and work my normal hours.

I just recently had a situation. Couple months ago mine VP reprimanded me for.” driving the bus.” of an event that I was just giving guidance on. He cheered me out for about 20 minutes. It got so out of hand I ended up going to HR. Well just recently he promised to take over a very important event at work that affected the bonuses of several of the staff. He completely dropped the ball. In fact, he didn’t even touch of the ball. Now the person coordinating this reached out to me a few days before the event. I could’ve easily pulled it off, I’ll be it. It wouldn’t have been a great production, but it would’ve gotten pulled off and all those bonuses more than likely would’ve gone out to the staff who were working for them. But I just sat back and watched it completely disintegrate because I wasn’t gonna get in trouble for. “ driving the bus again.” especially when it was his bus.

i once said "no" to working in another area my work wanted me to be, but then they pulled the "but it's a policy as rules states you HAVE to do it if nobody takes the position" which nobody but me wants to do.
