Can anyone give me any knowledge on my situation , Ive only ever earnt haram Ive stopped earning haram and Im looking to get into halal income , ofc the haram money will never be halal but ive accumulated a substantial amount which I live Off of due to my past mistakes such as prison where I cannot make a halal living through normal jobs or create a income which is halal for myself . If I genuinely feel regret and stop earning haram but I’m still living off the haram money Ive accumulated just to get by until somehow someway I get a halal income does this make me wrong or how can I correct myself . The money is only haram for the persons whose money it is though ? And I thought when the money leaves them ( given to family or charity ) the money is no longer haram for the people who receive it ?
