And somewhere in the process, Evil Dead lore crashes headfirst into Friday the 13th lore in a way that makes considerably more sense than it has any right to. Because horror franchises are like this. You start with a cabin in the woods and forty years later you’re arguing about supernatural rules, crossover canon and one very questionable prop in Jason Goes to Hell.
