The saddest part is a man would never write this. This is written by a woman who understands us. A man like this would never write this because he would never truly understand.

Unless he’s a brain surgeon or air traffic controller, I guarantee her job of keeping a tiny human alive all day requires her to be the less sleep deprived. ‘She’s on leave’ my arse

Amazing how it took 7 months for him to realize what she was doing every single day.. it’s so sad that she went unnoticed for that long. Men seriously have no clue how words like this can easily affect us. Not only are we going through postpartum, but that quickly with his comment, he turned it into PPD. Maybe he should realize that he also contributed in creating the child and just because the child is now born and physically here doesn’t mean he can just live his life and not help out one single bit. It’s called teamwork for a reason. She’s your partner, not your roommate.

I let my partner sleep so he could get up for work, If a man was staying home with the baby all day and his wife was up for work at 6.30am and he was waking her all through the night you’d all say it was wrong

Nah I’m too petty for that 😂. I’ve had 3 children, they all co slept and breastfed till toddlerhood and woke every 2-3hrs till about 18months old. I went back to work when they were all around 10months old. If I could get up after constant broken sleep all night for a solid 10months+ and go to work then so could my husband if I needed him to.

She was gentle with staying. I’d left that man immediately. If you don’t keep up for our child I don’t keep you.
