@matchmor: One thing worth saying plainly: deciding who to spend your life with is not a task you were meant to do entirely on your own. For most of history nobody did. There were people around you who knew your temperament, knew what you were after, and considered it on your behalf. That wasn't old-fashioned so much as sensible. Somewhere along the way the whole job got handed back to the individual with a screen, and we started calling that progress. matchMor is a small move back the other direction.
