My ex husband left me, took my kids out of spite, rushed and got married to someone else and even tried to reach out to boast about it make me feel some type of way…. I was broke, homeless and in cosmetology school. I now have my beauticians license, I have my associates degree and currently in grad school pursuing my Bachelor’s. I have a roof over my head, even in this horrible economy, I maintain my life and I still was told I am not able to be a parent to my kids… I just let God just guide me and keep me on the path I been on because people could’ve just given up and been on the streets.. I chose to get tf up and keep pushing and become better 🥹

As a woman who watched her mama walk away from my father and give him everything, only $300 to her name and packed us in the car along with the dog and made it work. I watched 17yrs of emotional and verbal abuse, narcissistic, toxic and cheating he did to her. As her daughter I will not disappoint her and repeat the cycle by being with a man that reminds me of him. Idc I’ll do it alone before a man ever makes me question my worth and accept that behavior just to be “loved” again
