I just learned to adjust my performance based on my payscale. 🤷♀️I learned that always going above and beyond just meant I did more work than others for the same amount of money but it was rarely acknowledged and definitely not appreciated.

I am in a spot where my manager tells people o just has Jim he will know. I was from a jr leave system to a standard system leave Eng and got a 10k bump. Then 2 people left the dept and then fired 1 other guy. This year no raise no meet at all. No we really sorry we can do to financing. When do I pull the plug and say I am out. I have started looking but it is hard right now with the job environment.

I disagree to some extent I think that we try harder and adjust our thinking to correct the problems that are keeping the company stagnant in our mind. but eventually if this doesn't change because the actions of some of the people within the company who have some power yes we will pull back quit find another job. we like to see progress and if that's not happening what are we doing? spinning our wheels
