Are you saying it was rude to require my guest to install my new water heater?

Airbnb should set a max cleaning fee based on square meters.

You know who won't raise my cleaning fee? The hotel. The hotel will also clean my room DAILY.

I still use AirBNB. If I see an unreasonable cleaning fee, I’m not booking. These ppl do realize this is a competitive BUSINESS, right?!

I had a family of 8. We rented a 4 bedroom beach house for vacation. Part of the checkout list was to wash and fold alllllll the linens before 11am Sunday morning. They had the smallest washer and dryer ever. It was unrealistic and caused me so much stress on our last day of vacation.

I just don't understand the host's arguments on this. If they think their check out is is so easy then why is it so hard for the cleaner to do? As the owner, I'd rather add 15 minutes of work for the cleaner than ask the guest to do this crap at the end of their vacation.

it's always funny because they say we only takes five minutes to take the bedding off and to sweep up after yourself.... and in the same sentence they say that it's going to add them hours and hours and hours of cleaning it's almost as if they are actually going to have to clean now and can't pocket the cleaning fee

I think it is gross as a guest to wonder if the cleanliness of the rental is based on the last guest’s cleaning job. Especially dishes.

They have this “guest in my home” mentality, right? But I would never ask or expect my guests who AREN’T paying me to do dishes or laundry, or take out the trash let alone those that ARE paying me!

Omg, we have to raise cleaning fees, cause now we actually have to clean and not just pocket the money while the guest cleans...🙃🙃🙃

I don’t want to sleep on sheets or eat off dishes where you are depending on the person before me to have cleaned them properly.
