From our volunteer observations, he can be a bit nervous in new situations and appears more comfortable when given his own space. He did great on our walk outside and didn’t react to the dogs in the yards. He does pull on the leash every so often but it just seemed like he got a burst of energy for a second and then would calm back down. He’s a young dog who is already very smart, he knows sit and down. He wanted lots of pets and affection, and even rolled over for belly rubs! Playgroup Observation 9/6: Fearful of the others. He flees with his tail tucked, correcting for space when overwhelmed. He is more oriented towards people. EPG1/DG-Dainty & Gentle 10/8: Would stay near handlers but is warming up to others with time in the yard, allows greetings and felt more comfortable with gentle dogs. PG1-Social/DG-Dainty & Gentle 10/8: A1297454 Kilo & A1277066 Mika cohoused Owner Notes 8/29: Kilo was surrendered due to apartment breed restrictions. His previous owner had him for eight months and described him as very energetic, playful, and sometimes rough when excited, especially with children. He is potty trained but pulls on leash and does not know any commands. Kilo may bark when meeting new people and takes some time to warm up. He has lived with children, has no reported bite history or medical concerns, and would benefit from a home with a yard where he can burn off energy. He is microchipped but not neutered.
