@tamara.starr: This is one of the toughest goodbyes I ever had to do…. VanGogh was 18, but he really filled our hearts with a lifetime of memories. I’ll never forget meeting him at a shelter in Boston and was shocked how quickly he placed both paws on my shoulder. “Wow, I think he’s the only cat who has ever wanted to give me a hug!” And I brought him home that day. He’s been with us through the best moments of our lives and the worst... but he always made us feel so much love. I know that pets can’t live forever…but a part of me wanted to see if he could. But I am grateful he’s no longer suffering…and I know my parents are gonna take good care of him for us.💕
