According to the arrest affidavit and surveillance footage detailed in police reports, 24-year-old Tyler Vidro pulled alongside on Florida’s Turnpike, lowered his window, shrugged his shoulders, and raised his hand in an aggressive attempt to provoke a confrontation. Padgett ignored it and kept driving. Vidro didn’t. He followed the FedEx truck for roughly 40 miles across multiple counties, all the way onto restricted FedEx property. Surveillance video captured Vidro arriving just 21 seconds behind, blocking Padgett in the parking lot, and confronting him.
