Here in Virginia, I’ve heard them called Black Eyed Junco’s. Is that the same species ? The ones here are very small, sparrow size. I had two Morning Doves come and eat today ! Haven’t seen them in a week or so. Love all birds. They actually are “dinosaurs”, because they are discovering that many dinosaurs had feathers !! New findings say that they are actually kin to birds !!! That’s rather interesting.
