❤️ November 1, 1954 | The anniversary of the outbreak of the Algerian War of Independence. November 1st is not just a date we celebrate every year; it is a day etched in the memory of a nation, a day that changed the course of an entire country's history. It is the day on which the men and women of Algeria decided that freedom is a right, that dignity cannot be bought, and that the homeland is worth sacrificing for, no matter how difficult the path. On this great day, the spark of the liberation revolution against French colonialism was ignited—a revolution made by heroes who believed in a free Algeria and refused to let their people live under oppression and colonialism. We remember with pride our six historical heroes: Mostefa Ben Boulaïd, Mohamed Boudiaf, Larbi Ben M'hidi, Didouche Mourad, Krim Belkacem, and Rabah Bitat. We pray for all the martyrs of Algeria, men and women, who sacrificed so that we may live today in a homeland whose name is a free flag, a national anthem, and a banner that will never bow. From the Aurès Mountains to the Kabylie region, from north to south, and from east to west, the story of the revolution will forever stand as a testament to the courage of a people who never lost hope in freedom. Generations may pass, and years may go by, but history never forgets those who forged glory, and Algeria will never forget its sons who, through their heroism, wrote some of the greatest pages of its history. Glory and eternity to our righteous martyrs, greetings and appreciation to our living freedom fighters, and mercy to all who sacrificed for Algeria. O God, protect Algeria and its people, and make it always safe, free, and dignified. November 1, 1954 – November 1, 2026. Algeria will remain in our hearts, and the history of our heroes will remain a trust upon the shoulders of generations. Long live Algeria, glory and eternity to our righteous martyrs.
