She wasn't just a girl I once knew. She was my childhood, my best friend, and my first love. We spent six years growing up together, making memories without ever realizing how much they would mean to us one day. I still remember the little things: riding bikes, going to the playground, laughing together, our conversations, and the way she used to walk me to the bus. I remember her brown hair, her blue eyes, and that smile I could recognize anywhere. Back then, I never thought there would come a day when we'd become strangers. It's strange how someone who once knew almost everything about you can eventually become someone you know almost nothing about. I don't know if she remembers those days as much as I do, or if she ever thinks about me anymore. Maybe I'm just a distant memory to her now. But I'll always be grateful that I got to know her, that I got to grow up beside her, and that for six years, I had someone like her in my life. I don't hate her for leaving, and I don't wish her anything bad. I just hope she's happy, wherever life has taken her. Because even though she's no longer part of my everyday life, she'll always be part of my childhood. And some people aren't meant to stay forever; they're meant to leave you with memories you'll carry for the rest of your life. ❤️
