Just had a newborn a couple of weeks ago, and the hospital told my wife and I that if we weren’t married, I’d have to take a paternity test. I was happy to hear that they are enforcing this now..

Are they doing the paternity test right there? Doesnt it take longer to do a paternity test than what you are in the hospital after birth? It’s definitely a great idea and should be done everywhere!

Yeah it was new to me. The nurse didn’t even let me fill out the biological dads section they said he would have to fill out his own seperate form for the dad information after he took a free dna test with Family services department
