It’s so strange to think that Nanami died back in 2018, but we didn’t actually get to witness it until 2023. It reminds me of how we see the light of a star that may have already died years ago. By the time its light reaches us, the star is already gone, but we’re only just now seeing what happened. In a way, Nanami was already gone long before we ever got to watch him die. We were just receiving the light of a story that had already ended.
