but guess what, we are better and well educated than those who bullied us.

And then people try to downplay it by saying “that stuff happened years ago” when the trauma from that even carries into adulthood

I've been crying since I arrived in 1989 in the USA it's very deep. Africans/ black Americans have so much pain to endure for 4 centuries, we need to heal our wounded together cos it's effecting the young mind. The systemic tactics destroy and destabilize us non-stop even in the USA any greatness of black Americans erased and burnt, for example Tulsa Oklahoma, indigenous black people in the entire world the solution is unity, don't make the systemic tactics win.

I’m going to say a brief personal story Listen I just didn’t want to make a video of this due to the situation,But honestly as someone who was born and raised in NYC and still lives here and is a 1st generation American with Nigerian parents honestly growing up in the 90’s as a young child was so hard for me in school.I was terrorized tremendously and bullied so badly in public school that my mom put me in private school from 2nd grade and even then I was bullied even worst throughout the remainder of elementary school just because I was African,I’m also darker in complexion and I wasn’t skinny. It was so bad for me that once 5th grade was over I told my mom I can’t do this for junior high school so she offered to send me back home to Nigeria to do junior high and I gladly accepted. When I came back to NYC for highschool I was thought all the bullying was all behind me noo it was worst in highschool for me cause I was quite and stayed to myself 🥹.So much happened to me and to make it worst my mother didn’t understand how the bullying was making me miserable and affecting my self esteem.Once I was done with highschool in 2010 I was relieved but the bullying throughout out my schooling here in NYC had some much negative effects on my life that I have now in my 30’s finally repaired. There alot more parts to this story but honestly our dear young brother that lost his life situation literally triggered my trauma response related to my bullying 😭🥹

I as a Black American was also bullied growing up. Bullying starts with upbringing. The parents need to do better to prevent bullying.

Im African American and I’ve heard a lot of diaspora wars on here. I will say that what Africans have experienced from AA is valid and shouldn’t be excused away as well as what AA’s have experienced from Africans. The only way to heal as a people is to speak about the ugly parts. I apologize on our behalf for any harm done and hope one day we can get the same back and all heal together. Don’t. Let. Them. Win.
