It's hard when anyone has dementia especially parents all our memories and history wipe away from their brain my mom forget a lot of things like days,time,date and I ache for her but then she still is down pack by name but some great grandkids she don't remember but love her every day so she don't forget who loved and still living the her

dementia is a horrible disease. You lose your loved one over and over when one moment they know who you are and the next, they don't recognize you. It's very heartbreaking. I experienced this with my mother. [Teary eyed]
