I’d give the chestnut spring books another chance because the book with cade which is the one you hated was the worst one I hated him too. I did not like that book at all, but I liked all the other men.

Quicksilver is so good. I understand he is an asshole the first part of book 1 but he definitely was not in the second book. book 2 was all women power, him letting her do her thing, being protective but not overly so because he knows she is strong, it was straight pining for her in the second book. I LOVE THE SERIES!!!

I also DNF'd quicksilver. He was an ass for literally zero reason (no i dont care what the reason was) and everybody was saying HES THE BEST BOOK BOYFRIEND!! When he was just a copy paste of most booktok bfs and not even as good.. Carion carried that book on his back

I actually loved Metalslinger until the end, the ending was the ehhhhh part for me. Lightwielder was actually pretty good. Quicksilver I liked, Brimstone I struggled so hard not to DMF, it was terrible.

You’re losing a lot of money when you buy these books, so I’ll do you a favor go to the library and borrow the books or if you have a Kindle or something like that use Z library and if you hate it, you can just delete it. That’s what I do because if I like the book, I’ll go buy it.
