I use chat for a lot of my calls now. That’s what a lot of customers go to make sure they aren’t getting ripped off and it’s actually making me more money

Yeah, there’s a big issue with flat rate pricing at least in my market. A lot of customers want to complain about a bill when it only took 30 minutes to do a job customers in my market are tracking how long technicians are on site and what they’re being charged I can’t speak for other markets. I can only speak for the Indianapolis market so I just go with quoted prices not hourly it’s more of a time and material pricing with my markup and a few other things factored in, but it produces the same price consistently across the board for every customer. So if I do a compressor change out for Customer a and then go across the street to his neighbor and do the exact same compressor change out their prices are identical, and I don’t have to remember the price because I figure out the the cost to markup the labor, all that stuff with my factors and everything works out the same.

Great work. I have used the flat rate pricing that comes with my CRM and have gotten the ones we use the most and over the years have compiled our own so now I don’t pay the subscription costs to have access to them.
