I have always done all my own house cleaning for 3 husband's i am talking about cleaning windows washing curtains and at times I didn't have a washer and dryer I hung washer so I washed dishes byt hand with 4 children I know what laboris is i also cook big meals

Dray I too bought my first house in my 20's. Yard work, washing the car, everything on the inside. I had a Golden Retriever. I vacuumed twice a day. Hahaha It's life. That's all. Peace

I think it comes down to sharing the responsibilities. If You are sharing a home with someone usually the tasks are shared - at least ideally.

Women never include half the labor was caused by them spending the full day at home while the working man a few hours before returning to work.

When they get allergic to doing dishes, toilets and basically everything it gets annoying. Disorganization is time and energy consuming especially when there is more than 2. Constantly thinking about food is also draining. Not creative or cute.

Im on this app 8 hrs a day and that word has never shown up in my feed and any “adult” in a relationship knows there’s stuff that has to get done and dividing that up is part of the program. I was with the same girl for 36 years we both cooked cleaned did laundry and dishes. It was never an issue so the folks having trouble with this aren’t really in a relationship the one who expects it from the other is looking for a mother and needs to be Dismissed because they will never tow their weight.
