I think the real question is, why is a mom going into a nail salon to complain about prices for her 30 year old daughter? I thought at first that maybe is was a 13 uear old and the mom gave her money for her nails to get done for her birthday. But she is a grown ass woman, I am sure she can fight her own battles.

She’s a 30-year-old grown woman. If she wanted a $15 pedicure, she should’ve gone to the salon charging $15 instead of choosing one charging $45. If the price was clearly disclosed, why is her mother arguing with the business over a service her adult daughter chose? Nobody forced her to book it. She could’ve gone elsewhere or stayed home. Businesses set their prices; customers decide whether to pay them.

One business is under no obligation to match another’s prices. If the salon clearly disclosed its $45 price and provided the service as agreed, a cheaper option elsewhere is no basis for demanding a refund. Her daughter is a 30-year-old adult who could have chosen another salon. I hope the court holds them accountable for any proven misconduct. Disliking a price does not entitle anyone to harass a business.
