@jakekocherhans: If you’ve been doing the same shit over and over again for MONTHS and you’re not noticing any changes with your bloating… Then you’re probably missing something. Truthfully, cutting more foods out of your diet was never the solution to begin with. Sure it might alleviate some symptoms temporarily. But it’s not actually fixing anything. It’s not getting rid of SIBO. It’s not improving digestion or motility. It’s not strengthening your microbiome or your “good bacteria”. It’s quite literally just a band-aid. It’s a temporary fix. Just like hammering your gut with more antimicrobials month after month isn’t a complete solution either. Yes, they can help for the right person. But if you’re 6 months in and nothing is changing… you haven’t fully addressed the root cause of your issues yet. Taking antibiotics or antimicrobials won’t do much if you have low stomach acid, your digestion sucks, your motility is slow, and your good bacteria are completely wiped out.
I’ve tried everything and nothing works, I’ve had test after test and they say it’s sibo but that ain’t the only thing. They can’t really discover what it is. I’m just eating less of everything and I’m also losing all types of vitamins. I hardly sleep.

If you have blood work done and your ALT and AST are good does that help confirm your liver is producing enough bile to support digestion?!
