It’s still a far better place than the 35 as well. The 35 is a whole lot cheaper and multi role. Where the 22 is a straight air superiority beast

30 years seems like a long time but in the scope of the military complex and countries existence it’s minuscule. We still road horses and wagons in WW2. Having a few prototypes is far different than mass production.
