I work in a hospital, my hospital was built many decades ago, and is totally out of date, and even we have translators on monitors that pop up, FROM dozens of languages around the world. He is a straight up liar.

From what I've heard, his book is full of these kind of claims. I know he has made claims about seeing people buy steak and lobster on food stamps and the pull out a wad of cash to buy cigarettes and booze.

I went to the ER in a community where the majority of the population is Asian, 51% white population was around 20%. Where 45% of people reported Vietnamese ancestry and 20% reported Mexican ancestry and there weren’t any translators. They just hire bilingual people to work at hospitals when possible.
