Today marks another anniversary of my beautiful daughter, Brianna Long’s, death, and I am absolutely devastated. 💔 I hate to even call it an anniversary. It was the worst day of my life and something a parent never wants to go through..  Brianna was murdered by members of the gangs while she was at work in Valdosta, Georgia. We are still waiting for a trial, still waiting for answers, and still trying to navigate this nightmare that has forever changed our lives. We are left with so many unanswered questions, and some days, the sadness, anger, bitterness, and confusion are almost too much to bear. I miss my daughter more than words could ever explain. I miss her voice. I miss seeing her face. I miss talking to her, being around her, and all the little things that I once took for granted. I miss EVERYTHING about her. 💔 I wonder where she would be today, what she would be doing, and all the beautiful moments we have been robbed of sharing with her. Since losing Brianna, I feel like I’ve lost a part of myself, too. All I seem to do is work and come home. I’ve stopped going places and doing the things I once enjoyed. Grief has changed me in ways I never imagined, and learning to live in a world without my daughter has been one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to face. 😢 Please continue to pray for our family. 🙏🏼 Pray for strength, for answers, and for justice for Brianna. Will justice bring my daughter back? No. Nothing ever could. But she deserves justice, and we deserve answers. We will continue to hold on to hope that one day SOON we will see accountability for what happened to her. Brianna, not a single day goes by that we don’t miss you and wish you were here. You will forever be loved, forever be missed, and forever be a part of us. Your life mattered, your story matters, and we will continue to speak your name and fight for justice. My sweet Bri Bri… I love you and miss you more than words could ever express. Until we meet again, my sweet girl. Mommy loves you always. 🕊️💔
