he had a hit in all the three genres at the time Rock and roll country and folk or whatever the third hobby today and then times got hard on him he got sick back home with his mom in England I guess it was this other stuff that he has done you should listen you wrote some good stuff and he would pretty obscure he had some life experiences that some of us never would have happened without listening to his songs

I’m 67 and the 70’s music was the best for me. That was the best time of my life. 80’s were great also, the artist were really good singers and there were no Autotune, all natural voice with melodies and harmonies. They don’t make good old music like the 70’s anymore. I miss those days so much. Life was just simple and we were much happier.

A few simple chords, a great voice and a catchy arrangement. Oh how I miss the 1970’s. You turn on a radio today and it’s noise disguised as music. No melody, no harmony, no “hook,” no songwriting skill, no nostalgia.

Makes my heart ache. I was 6 at the time, riding with my father in his little dark green Chevy with the radio on trying to understand why he and my Mom got divorced. Perhaps this song brings back some of that pain. One thing's for sure. Hearing this it's striking the quality, and dare I say, the tenderness and humility, compared to the so-called music coming out today. RIP Randy Still touching this heart from beyond the grave. 🙏
