@disneygirls716: THIS is what I was waiting to show you. 😳🏔️ PART 2 of our Matterhorn evacuation took us INSIDE the mountain. And I am not shortening this POV. Watch the whole thing and LOOK AROUND. At first, you’re still surrounded by the Matterhorn you recognize. Then the illusion starts disappearing. Suddenly you’re looking at exposed steel, catwalks, conduit, equipment, work lights, ladders, storage and maintenance areas that thousands of Disneyland guests pass every single day without ever realizing they’re there. Former Cast Member confession: I was absolutely losing my mind. But toward the end, TURN YOUR SOUND UP. 🔊 As we walk through the maintenance/backstage area, listen to the electronic and mechanical hum around us. You can literally HEAR the mountain working. And then, within seconds, we walk through a doorway and we’re right back inside Disneyland like none of it exists. THAT is the part I love. The magic guests see out front only works because of an enormous amount of engineering, maintenance and Cast Member work happening where we normally never see it. So this isn’t me saying, “Look what Disney is hiding.” It’s me saying… LOOK at everything it takes to make the illusion work. 🤯 Disneyland people, I want you on this one: What equipment, structure or details can YOU identify in this footage?
