You all do realize this is mainly about protecting students...right? And not all families celebrate Halloween...so many schools don't even allow a dress up day during school hours.

At least you were able to watch them 😏 my kids school clearly said “ no Halloween costumes unless is a character from a book” I show up to drop my kids off and I see a lot of them kids wearing their costumes 😡 I was mad & sad at the same time.

Why would they do that?!!! I’m a grandma and I was out there with my daughter & SIL watching the whole school parade in their cute costumes. My grandsons class also had a party afterwards.

I work as a teacher and the kids just do a lap around the school. I think it’s great that we don’t pressure parents to take a day from work. I make sure to take plenty of pictures and share them with the parents.

I dont understand LAUSD my daughter's school has 0 zero activities and do strict on what is allowed n wt not and her cousins does all these activities including trunk or treat!! LAUSD school as well. I cant even bring cupcakes to celebrate her bday w the class
