These are long lost glory days uncle but what we have to understand is this; Europe have other choices now that they didn't have then. Choices for oil, soap, biscuits, animal feed etc The groundnuts industry was nearly dead by 1990 following the bankruptcy of the bank for investment. The west has carefully thought out alternatives for every raw material they get from Africa and Asia. Let's all shift our thinking to the 21th century and beyond, and solve the problem rather than pointing the accusing finger. Objectivity is what is needed not subjectivity. Subhanallah
