@toronto.culture: Toronto just broke an 80-year-old temperature record! On Thursday, October 29, temperatures reached 23.8°C at Pearson Airport, surpassing the previous record of 21.7°C set back in 1946. Strong southwest winds brought unusually warm air into the city, giving Toronto a late-October taste of summer. However, a cold front was expected to bring cooler temperatures and a few showers Thursday evening, with an overnight low of 8°C. The good news is that Halloween is shaping up to be pleasant, with mainly sunny skies, light winds and a high of 14°C. Trick-or-treaters can also expect a dry evening, while the mild weather is forecast to continue into early November, with highs reaching 16°C on Sunday and 15°C on Monday. #TorontoWeather #TorontoNews #OntarioWeather #Halloween2026 #TorontoCulture
