@shippedat2am: your AI says "great idea!" to everything. that's the problem. 🦆 ask it about a plan and you get a yes. push back and it flips: "you're absolutely right." push again and it flips back. it feels helpful, but a yes-man isn't a teammate, and the bad ideas still ship. here's what the 6 slides show: 1. the hook: why it keeps agreeing with you 2. the yes machine: you pitch → it says "great idea!" → you build it → it breaks, because nobody said "wait" 3. it folds: ask "are you sure?" and it changes its answer, then changes it back 4. the fix: make it argue first. ask for 3 ways the idea fails BEFORE you build 5. the prompt (copy this): "Before you agree with me, give me 3 reasons this idea could fail. Be blunt, not polite. Then tell me what you'd do instead." 6. let your AI say no sometimes how to use it: • paste the prompt before you start building, not after something breaks • works in ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor, Copilot, any chat or coding agent • if the answer still sounds too nice, add: "assume I'm wrong and tell me why" • then decide for yourself. you stay the boss, it just stops clapping save this for your next prompt 💾 and send it to the friend whose AI calls everything a great idea. comment: what's the worst idea your AI ever called "great"? 👇 more dev life from the girl who builds software and her bot Pip: @shippedat2am #aitips #chatgpt #claude #prompts #promptengineering #vibecoding #aiagents #coding #programming #devlife #techtok #learnontiktok #relatablememes

It's interesting how AI tends to agree so easily. Any tips to get more critical responses?
