@htowndailynews: According to the Harris County Precinct 4 Constable's Office, two women fabricated a carjacking story to cover up hitting a parked Tesla early Saturday morning. Authorities report that Kenyarda Leavell and Portia Ellis placed a 911 call claiming they were carjacked shortly after crashing into the vehicle in the 1800 block of Laurel Valley Drive around 3 a.m. However, footage captured by the Tesla’s built-in cameras quickly contradicted their claim. The Tesla's owner, Johnny Tran, had traveled from Austin with a car club to display the custom, race-ready vehicle at the Slammedenuff Texas Car Show at the Reliant Center later that day. #htx #htown #houston #houstontx #houstontexas
