My favorite part of Halloween is throwing a costume together at the thrift store, or crafting something, or coming up with something unique, but even just grabbing a pre made costume at the store feels like joining in the fun of the season. Paying expensive costume designers to create elaborate things straight out of a movie is pretty boring in my opinion, but I agree that there’s nothing weird about the character choices. If anything, it’s conformity.

💯💯💯 Kids will dress whatever they like. They usually pick the character that doesn’t make sense to us adults but they love it.
