My dog has entered his dramatic era and honestly I think he’s thriving. So today, he spent the entire afternoon crying—actual whining, sighing, dramatic flopping on the floor—because he wanted to go to the park. Not just a little “let’s go outside,” but a full “I am being emotionally neglected and you are ruining my life” performance. After hours of listening to his tragic opera, I finally caved. Shoes on. Leash on. Peace restored… or so I thought. We get to the park, and instead of running, sniffing, chasing leaves, behaving like a typical dog—this man walks straight to the outdoor exercise area like he pays rent there. And then… I kid you not… he starts swinging on the machine BY HIMSELF 😂 Like sir, this is not a gym membership. You cried for HOURS just to work on your quads? He was seriously out there doing his little reps, paws on the bar, rocking back and forth like some tiny furry athlete. People were staring. I was staring. He didn’t care. He was in the zone. All that dramatics just so he could use the equipment like a miniature, uncoordinated bodybuilder. Meanwhile I’m standing there like: I canceled plans, changed my entire day, and sprinted to the park because someone wanted to live out his fitness influencer dreams. Anyway, I guess I’m raising an independent king with a passion for outdoor gyms.
