@zahertx: Texas public schools are facing significant challenges. Schools are closing, bus routes are being cut, and Houston ISD alone saw 4,000 teachers leave this year. We need leadership like Gina Hinojosa to address these critical issues. #Tx #texas #houston #GinaHinojosa #houstonisd

TexasPatti💫 :

that's all local not state issues

Miguel Gomez709 :

Maybe if superintendents weren’t making so much money 😂

Dad :

I hope this is sarcasm.

kjackson6347 :

You don’t blame the food supplier when the meal is shit. It’s not his fault that HISD has failing schools when districts all over Texas are excelling. It’s the District’s leadership, not the state’s.

Iowa :

We are fine and will be fine!!

Tommi :

Tell it like it is.. Abbott and Morath must go!

d.henry87 :

aria98761 :

Facts!! We have lost so much funding.

Kay :

No Abbott or Hinojosa. We're up shit creek

Ain’t nothing to see here. :

Anything is better than what we got, Texas isn’t for sale.

Poppy :

CRichardson@50 :

Facts !!! Roll his assout

Ofir Meza :

I don't think so! much of the cuts is for save money.

Chris :

No thanks

Sherri Constable :

One Reason that Public Schools are losing students. PUBLIC SCHOOL HAS FAILED OUR CHILDREN. We have children that can't read or math above 4 grade levels. I went back to work so my youngest son could go to Private school. The State took control over the Public Schools. That Distance had less then 50% graduates rate.

Texasgirlpam :

Please vote!!!!

DespicableKitten 🇬🇷 🇺🇸 :

Our teachers can't afford employer provided health insurance

TellYoMotherHello :

WTF is Gina gonna do different?

Breaux :

Abbott doesn’t have anything to do with the terrible ass democratic leaders in Harris County.. schools are closing yet they are still raising property taxes to the highest it’s ever been. Make that shit make sense

Imma_female2 :

Since covid schools went bat shit crazy, students are not disciplined people have had enough and choose homeschooling. Each district in Texas sets its own budget. In Houston isd which State closed down due to fraud and systemic incompetence. Funding is 85% via property taxes 11% State.

mango.raw :

Please vote for Gina. Enough is enough! 💙

GJack :

HISD was imploding from mismanagement. The state had to take it over to keep it afloat.

kenny :

Even the teachers know, public schools suck🤣
