@elitedingers: Jacob Misiorowski is only 24 years old, and he’s already a World Series champion. His high school senior season was canceled by COVID. He tore his meniscus two games into his freshman year of college. Scouts questioned whether he could throw enough strikes to be a starting pitcher. He’s coming off a season with a 1.80 ERA and 252 strikeouts, breaking velocity records and helping bring the first World Series title in Brewers history to Milwaukee. After getting swept by the Dodgers in the NLCS, he came back the next year and helped sweep them right back. He opened the World Series throwing the fastest pitch in Fall Classic history, then delivered five scoreless innings in the clincher. A Cy Young-caliber season with a World Series title. AND his career is just getting started. And through it all, he’s never been afraid to show his faith in Jesus or let the emotions show. Jacob Misiorowski is a champion, a competitor, and a reminder that the journey matters just as much as the destination. (📸 @Brewers) #Baseball #MLB #Brewers
