Ive done all of that. Full FCE, 2 RFCs, MRIs, 1000 pages of medical evidence, all consistent. a neurosurgeon report from one of the top neurosurgeons in the country. And I still got denied. Tell your clients the truth. if you're under 50, the default decision is denial. no matter what. reconsideration is a joke, its literally a waste of time. The CEs are crap, but the SSA will regard their opinion over hundreds of pages from your medical team. Oh, and a lawyer mist of the time will only take the case if its an easy win, that will take the longest. Disability attorneys only get paid for winning the case, so they will only take cases that are easily winnable. But legally if you win they get 25% of your back pay, so they will make sure it takes as long as possible. The bigger issue is that not one of them will fight for you when the ssa has blatantly violated its own rules, in writing. If you have a disability claim, don't listen to these ads. they don't care about you. find a disability advocate, or find someone who will use the words "Pro Bono" that means they actually care whether you win, not how much back pay you get.
