keep in mind he has to protect tanjiro and his wives while simultaneously fighting gyutaro and daki while poisoned and without the mark sure he had help but he was the main one putting in all the hard work along with tanjiro so realistically if he didn't have any distractions he would've most likely ended the fight a lot quicker since we've seen that beheading daki isn't a problem for him but gyutaro would give him a bit of a problem but he'd still end up on top

Tengen was the only hashira that didn’t get pushed hard enough to get their mark. He survived that fight cause he had tanjiro help instead of run away too. Rip Donut man

In a one on one against every hashira he stops at sanemi and has an edge against giyu(3rd strongest) so he’s on par with giyu on 3rd. People forget how much of an advantage Tengen has against humans
