@the.report.card: Karen Bass looked LA in the eye and said the LAX People Mover would be running by January. She was wrong. Again. The LA Times now reports it won't open until at least February 2027... "if then." That is not a deadline. That is a shrug. Here is what four years of Karen Bass looks like: A 3.3 billion dollar train that was supposed to open in 2023. 1.4 billion dollars over budget. Fox 11 caught it literally exploding on the tracks. An expert said a stalled car would have been incinerated in seconds. Seconds. And why is it late this time? The contractor says the airport and the DWP never signed off on their deals. Both are city agencies. Both answer to the mayor. When the LA Times asked City Hall about it... crickets. Her excuse? It started before she became mayor. Karen, you have been in charge for four years. This is your city. This is your mess. No oversight. No deadlines. No answers. Same story with the homeless program riddled with fraud, waste and abuse. Google it. LA deserves a mayor who actually finishes what she starts. Nithya Raman has been calling this out the whole time. She has done the homework, she shows up, and she is running on real deadlines and real accountability. A city that works for the people who live in it, not for the insiders who keep getting excuses instead of results. New generation. Ready for prime time. The new Berkeley IGS and LA Times poll has this race tied, 40 to 40, with 19% still undecided. That means YOU decide this. Polls don't win elections. People do. Massive turnout is what wins this. Vote early. California takes its sweet time counting, so don't wait. Grab 3 friends, make a plan, and vote Nithya Raman for mayor. Election Day is Tuesday, November 3. nithyaforthecity.com Sources: Los Angeles Times, Fox 11, Fox Business, KNX News, NBC Los Angeles, Berkeley IGS.
