“But I will hope continually, and will yet praise thee more and more.” — Psalm 71:14 (KJV) No matter what life brings, I will keep hoping, keep trusting, and keep praising the Lord! Psalm 71:14 is a beautiful declaration of unwavering faith. It reminds us that our hope in God should never depend upon our circumstances, and our praise should never be limited to the moments when life is going exactly as we planned. Notice what the psalmist declares: “But I will hope continually.” What a powerful statement! He doesn’t say he will hope only when his prayers are answered, when the road is easy, or when everything seems to be falling into place. He declares that his hope will be continual! There will be seasons in our lives when our faith is tested. Times when prayers seem unanswered, when the waiting becomes difficult, and when the obstacles before us seem greater than our ability to overcome them. Sometimes we wonder why God hasn’t moved the mountain, opened the door, or brought the answer we’ve been praying for. But hope in God isn’t based on what we can see happening around us. It is based on who we know God to be! His faithfulness does not change when our circumstances change. His promises do not become less certain simply because we have to wait. And His love for us does not diminish during the difficult seasons of life. Then the psalmist makes another beautiful declaration: “And will yet praise thee more and more.” Not less and less. Not only when things improve. But more and more! As we walk with God, we should continually discover new reasons to praise Him. Every answered prayer, every lesson learned, every trial He has brought us through, and every moment of His grace gives us another testimony of His goodness. Even the struggles that once brought us to tears can become reminders of how faithfully God carried us through. The longer we walk with the Lord, the more reasons we should have to praise Him! And sometimes our greatest praise doesn’t come after the victory. Sometimes it comes while we’re still waiting, still believing, and still trusting God to work in ways we cannot yet see. Praise is not always a response to what God has done. Sometimes it is a declaration of our confidence in what He is able to do. Don’t allow yesterday’s disappointments to steal today’s hope! You may not understand everything God is doing in this season, but you can trust His heart, His wisdom, and His faithfulness. Keep hoping when the answers haven’t come. Keep trusting when the path isn’t clear. Keep praising when the journey becomes difficult. And when God brings you through another season, let your testimony become another reason to lift His name even higher! Our praise should grow as our faith grows, because the more we experience God’s faithfulness, the more we recognize just how worthy He is! So today, make the same declaration as the psalmist: “I will hope continually, and will yet praise thee more and more.” Not just today. Not just when life is easy. But through every season, every struggle, and every victory! My hope will remain in the Lord, and my praise will only grow stronger! #Psalm7114 #HopeContinually #PraiseHimMoreAndMore #HopeInGod #PraiseTheLord
