yet these green energies aren't very green at all. so until someone comes up with a renewable energy source we are stuck running a tried and true energy source.

And u don't think one step back to realize how much land and wildlife has been destroyed making your "green clean energy"

The problem with "cleaner" solutions is how much space it takes up for the environment to be able to be clean with not a great return. Proper management goes a long way and yes we should do better but nothing will ever be zero. So we need to aim for less without pricing everyone out.

batteries can not always be recycled, they pollute the ground and the water, pick you poison or go back to the stone age and even then it would take 1000 years for the earth to heal

It’s only in the word. Conservatives today don’t want to conserve anything, only destroy. It’s as if they don’t enjoy hunting, camping or fishing.

Old school hunters used to protect the environment like old school republicans protected the economy, but old school is gone!

agree. I dont hunt. from my experience hunters are usually very down with environmental conservation in general, do a lot of things to help, but a lot are still pro oil and pro fossil fuels due to some great lobbying and propaganda.

While I agree that environmentalism is vital to maintaining the outdoor life we enjoy, there’s no renewable source as it stands that doesn’t still rely on fossil fuels, cause equivalent damage to the environment in another way or cost exorbitant amounts of money. Voting to impose renewable energy policies before technology has advanced to make that actually fiscally AND environmentally sustainably achievable will result in mass poverty. As a result, fossil fuels will never not be the main fuel source; because impoverished societies don’t care about the environment when they’re more worried about affording to survive. As our economy improves, consumers will naturally be able to afford more environmentally minded products and at the same time technology will advance to make those products available at a reasonable price. The fact that most Americans care, shows we’re on the right track. It just takes time, not mass takeover of energy industries.

So what do you want to go back to the horse and buggy days? You know how how many people this world would die without the technology that we have now if we just shut all that down or maybe that’s what you want. It’s the less than the population because that would do it.
