@nexusimmi: New migration rules start 1 November 2026. Here’s what you need to know 👇 ❌ NEW BVB RESTRICTIONS You cannot obtain a new Bridging Visa B while your Protection (Class XA) visa application—including an ART review—or related court proceedings remain pending. Having another visa application pending does not remove this restriction. 📌 Already granted a Protection visa? This change is not a blanket travel ban on Protection visa holders. 📌 Already hold a BVB? These amendments do not automatically cancel it. The new rules apply to BVB applications lodged from 1 November 2026. 💳 PROTECTION REVIEW? PAY UPFRONT For protection decisions made from 1 November 2026, the ART review fee must be paid when applying, unless exempt. The fee is 50% of the standard migration review fee. Earlier decisions remain under the previous fee rules. 📋 BRIDGING VISA E CHANGES Some applicants may receive extra conditions concerning criminal conduct and compliance with a code of behaviour. These are not automatic for every BVE holder. Applies to BVE applications lodged from 1 November 2026. 🔖 Save this before you travel. Share it with someone waiting for a protection decision.
