🆘 One-year-old puppy VANESSA is deadlined for EUTHANASIA on 11/1, which means she needs an exit plan by close of business Saturday 10/31‼️ Vanessa came to the South LA shelter as a stray pup at the end of August. She's estimated to be about 1 year old and is a sweet, petite girl at only 40 pounds. Vanessa is a friendly, playful, and affectionate dog. She loves a good cuddle session and will happily roll over for belly rubs. She's treat motivated and eager to engage too! She happily fetched a ball with volunteers and this young, fun, happy girl has so much life left to live! Vanessa has joined playgroup over 20 times. She's almost always described as social or tolerant. She's playful and steerable, but can be a pushy puppy with play at times. We are heartbroken that Vanessa is EUTH LISTED. because she barked/growled/ snapped at a supervisor during his kennel assessment of her on 10/17. Notably, Vanessa settled down after a few moments and tried interacting with him. Vanessa will be euthanized on SUNDAY 11/1 anytime after 8AM unless adopted, fostered, or rescued. The shelter doesn't open until 11am on Sunday, so her exit plan needs to be in place by 5pm Saturday 10/31.
