Life Is Beautiful :
Attached is the statistics collected by the Chinese national statistics department, average working hrs per week is 48 hrs. The only jobs that can pull 10+ hrs / day r high paying jobs in the AI/IT industry, where the monthly pay usually starts at 20k RMB/month + whatever benefits, the higher rank/more seasoned ones could even be pulling in over a million per yr + benefits and stocks. If u work as a factory worker, then it’s usually 8hrs/shift per day, but u only get 1 day off per week, and the pay is about 5-8k RMB. If u work for state owned establishments (universities/construction companies etc), then the pay varies depending on which city the job is at and what industry + the skill lvl.In ur post, u r using the most stressful work hrs of AI/IT workers, and the lowest paid factory worker/ delivery drivers, this is not a fair comparison. In China, generally speaking, the more u work, the more u make. And I think that’s how it should be.
