Mike, both my cars were stolen out of my garage and they did nothing. They used temp tags from a local dealership to get past flock cameras. Nothing has been followed up on. My insurance went up $200 a month. Crime is not down. For Mayor we are in a lose-lose situation.

The question should be where does he get his statistics. I know Fairdale has had an increase in crime and now all you hear at night is the street take overs on generator and new cut road.

I live just outside of Jefferson county. I don’t know if it’s him or Flock cameras but my neighborhood has seen significantly less people stealing cars in my neighborhood and surrounding neighborhoods. Usually summer is when they hit and I haven’t heard of one time this summer of any neighborhood being hit.

All of these negative comments lead me to ask “ONE” question? You who are commenting on this post/tweet about crimes of various kinds… what are you doing to improve your neighborhoods? Why rely on one person? What can you do to improve your communities, what can you do to prevent these crimes of various types? What is stopping you from taking a more active role in your communities?
