I can call myself a selfless person for not reposting this but I physically cannot. I forever will call my self selfish for thinking that I am even on the same level of grief as this written piece is. Maybe it’s the constant invalidation of my efforts and hard work that has stemmed my inability to express myself fully. Maybe from it stemmed my unwavering desire to be chosen without hesitation. From it, my heart worn out from the constant expectation that it will finally be chosen unconditionally. A hypocrite, greedy, selfish person who seems to want everything to myself. They praise me for my academic excellence but never once uttered a compliment about my personality, my flaws, and my being. It has become self-evident that my efforts will bear nothing.
