Mr Happiness, you see, I have entered the UK more than 15 times, twice in the Netherlands, and twice to the US among other countries, I have not once been harassed the way our customs guys in Ghana do. They should just stop this nonsense. It's disgraceful. How much can the duty on the one or two 23 kg bags per passenger raise for Ghana in terms of revenue.

Those marks on your check in tags are not from any customs of the country u are coming from if they suspect anything they will check it themselves. they'll never allow you to leave without clarification. that marks we see are has no info to Gh customs,but rather it is a sign of communication between the baggage handler at the airport mostly when you have very short time for your next flight ✈️

They only opened one of my bags even though all 4 bags were marked red. They asked if all the bags were for personal use and I said yes, they said ok you can close it and go. So easy.
