Jen Lilley Revives Her Christmas Is Not Cancelled Toy Drive After Two Years, Aiming for 20,000 Presents Actress Jen Lilley is bringing back her Christmas Is Not Cancelled toy drive after a two-year break. The 2026 campaign kicks off Nov. 1 and runs through Dec. 13. The goal is to give 20,000 presents to children in need. For the first time, it is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, so donations are tax-deductible. Lilley, 42, says the project began “as a joke during the pandemic.” She told a friend, “They’d better not cancel Christmas.” Then she realized that for many families, it actually might be. Her first goal was 10,000 presents. The program grew in 2021, 2022 and 2023. By then, it was distributing around 25,000 toys and books every Christmas. Now, podcaster Shawn Ryan has kicked off the relaunch with a $30,000 donation toward bikes and scooters. Lilley says those are often the hardest items to get. The campaign works with Toys for Tots. Lilley says parents often get to pick out the gifts themselves, so on Christmas morning, the presents come from Mom and Dad. “A mom or dad gets to keep their dignity, and a child gets to believe everything is okay,” she said. Donors also earn entries to win prizes. They include a movie night tied to Lilley’s new film Jimmy, which opens in theaters Nov. 6. Lilley is a mom of five, and a few of her children were adopted through foster care. “Bringing Christmas Is Not Cancelled back feels like my own Christmas miracle,” she said. What would you add to a child’s Christmas gift list? #christmas #new #toysfortots #ShawnRyan #hallmark
